How can we make any money with MLM when so many people say that it’s dead, are they right? If you are considering Network Marketing then you should read this first.

I am often asked why would I want to join mlm? With all the bad publicity that it receives, being branded as one of those ‘pyramid things’, horrific stories of people getting ripped off and so called uplines that just disappear after signing people up. People often get sceptical anytime you mention Multi Level Marketing to them.

I’d like to ask you, do you think that anyone should join the Network Marketing industry?

Here are some comparisons which will illustrate things better Most of the world’s population will work for someone else throughout their life, usually for around 45 years, the average wage per person in the UK (where I live) right now is around £23,800 and in the US is around $36,000. Sure there are going to be many people earning more than this but I am just looking at the averages for now. Mostly you will be working 35 – 40 hours a week, maybe more in order to keep getting this money from your employer.

If we look quickly at the MLM business model. With product marketing and also sponsoring others into their business, many people have developed impressive residual incomes. I am pleased to say that the company I am involved with is 100% ethical and provides products that change people’s lives for the better and allows them to go on to become very successful. When I have someone join my team as a customer I will then earn commissions of $45 each month. Even if over the next year I was only able to find 100 new customers then my earnings are going to be $4,500 each month which equates to more than the average wage.

Over the years, there have been many opportunities that have come across my desk that have peaked my interest.  Everything from selling soap and toothpaste, to herbal remedies, to professional services, to travel opportunities and others.  There is one thing in all of these opportunities that I have noticed that is common.

What was it that you were drawn to in each one of these opportunities?  Was it the product?  Was it the opportunity of residual income?  Was it the compensation plan?  Was it an obligation that you felt to a friend that had invited you?  Was it the carisma of the person that presented the opportunity?  What was it that got your attention?

Unfortunately there is no concrete standard. So what is being implied? If you are investigating an opportunity it pays to know what is being said.

Typically, the system will consist of tools, training and support. The best way to find out exactly is to simply ask what the system entails. It could save you from a lot of disappointment later.

• Is the system automated?
• Is there training and to what extent?
• Is there support and to what extent?
• How are you paid?
• Is there any residual income?
• What is the cost?
• What is the product or service specifically?
• What is the current and anticipated future demand of the product or services?
