Find Profitable Niches

There are plenty of places where we can learn about an affiliate marketing business.  Unfortunately, it is much harder to find someone to do the actual difficult work for you.  Well, I may not have found a long hidden source of free labor, but I know that I have unearthed what is probably nearly as good.

I sell my own digital and physical products, but a sizeable chunk of my income still comes from affiliate marketing, where I began.  My online business is made up of a number of traditional sites and blogs.  I am a firm supporter–make that “enthusiast”–of SEO for traffic generation, but that is a long term process; good search results take time to build.  For some of my affiliate marketing, I have tried PPC, but rarely have I had success over the long haul. 

So, for me, as for all Internet marketers, traffic is a very challenging part of my business.  Especially difficult are those times when I have to pass on a new affiliate opportunity because none of my websites are optimized to bring in targeted traffic for the product, so I face the age old question:  How do I send my traffic to the vendor’s site?

I use the same, standard approach that most of you reading this use; I take them first to my own site, where I ply my skills of subtle persuasion.  Then I just hope that I have been sufficiently convincing to get them to click the link that directs them to the vendor’s site so that I have some small chance of earning my commission.  I would like to make that process a bit less involved and take the prospects to the vendors a little more efficiently.

Many people have taken the big career step, quit their day jobs and started a home based business. This small business can be a great career. Earnings will come in time. Efforts can be rewarded. This can be profitable.

Listen to the advice of others. They know the truth. Limit the scope of your business. Limit your products. Think about one thing in the beggining. Start your business as soon as possible. Look for a profitable niche. Start small and succeed.

Promote your business or fail. Promote your business online. After a while you can venture into pay per action. Keep learning all the time. Many people get into ppc prematurely.

Be sure your ontop of your market. Trust comes from credibility. People will begin to trust you and what you offer. People buy from who they trust. Your sales revenue will grow and your business will be much stronger business.

Build additional income streams. Make money from your website.Affiliate programs can help grow your revenue. Seek a diverse business.
