SocialMarker Gets Your Site Found

The last few days I’ve been using Social Marker and have been delighted with the results. I’m on page 1 for some of my 3-word keyword phrases for the site in question, and page 2-4 for other keyphrases. And this is after only 4 days, for a brand new site.

I credit part of that success to using the free service at http://socialmarker.com

You do need to register (also free) with the social sites you want to submit your web pages to and that takes a little while but it’s a one time activity — that you benefit from for a long time, so that’s a good use of your time.

After you’ve registered with all the social sites you wish to register for (there’s no need to join them all first time round - you could just create accounts for the ones they nominate on their home page as the Best), how do you use SM?

Easy. Every time you add a new page to your site or blog, you can visit socialmarker.com and use it to notify over 25 services of your new content.

Tip: Only do 10 social sites per day. So it looks like natural link growth to Google.

Tip: Come up with a username that is unique so you can use the same one with all the social sites. Keeps life easier. Include both numbers and alphabetic characters, only.

Cheers,
Gary

Here are 2 videos that explain how to use SocialMarker.

This second one is about using SM to bookmark other people’s sites, using their bookmarklet. But hey, you could also use it to promote your own sites.
