Firefox can block images on one domain

Firefox can block images on one domain.

Call me slow maybe, but I just discovered that Firefox can block unwanted images from appearing on my screen for any domain that I like, while it continues to display images on all other sites.

So now I can turn off those pesky flashing animated images on sites I like to visit for their information value. I can also speed up page loading times for sites with way too many slow-loading graphics. Some forums are like that… filled with oodles of banner ads.

How to turn image display off?

Easy.

Just before you go to the site or page in question, hover over any image then right click and select ‘Block images from this domain’.

To turn them on again, hover your cursor where there is an undisplayed image (there’s just a blank space on the screen where the graphic would normally be showing) and reverse the process.

Cheers,
Gary
