Selling stock photos online has become one of the hottest business opportunities for many freelance photographers. I mention selling stock photos online but there are other methods to get paid for your photos online.

You ever wonder how to make money selling your photos online? What if you could earn a second income or have a primary income as a freelance photographer! Photography is an art and trying to find ways to sell pics can be difficult.

If you want to learn how to sell photos online all that is required is a standard digital camera to make money possibly residual income. To take great pictures an expensive top of the line digital camera is not required it is more about knowing the secrets, techniques and certain tips of the trade.

What you need to know to get paid for your photos is how to get paid the most and possibly earn residual income. The advantage to getting paid for your photos is you get to be your own boss and work your own hours.

    You might be on to something. And by saying that, i mean you are! I had a big problem back in the day when I was starting out – I had no photos! And you know how it is with pictures found online – they are all copyrighted and you need to pay big $ for permission to use them ..
    So, i bought a camera and started working on my own photo file. A year later I have over 2,000 quality (well, amateur-quality to be precise) pictures. I never thought about actually selling them but this is a great idea! Thanks for the links :)

  • putting your photographs onto stock photography sites is definitely a good idea for people hoping to make a living with their photography. i would say, check out the main sites and see what is selling in great quantity. usually situational photos involving people (especially children) are big sellers.

    Stock photo sites are always a pretty sure bet. Gonogging.com is a good general freelance site that caters strongly to photography.
