How to cut your business expenses
Cutting your software costs
I want to help you save money and I am never going to ask you for anything in return.
Every year I save thousands of pounds by not spending any money on software. I wanted to find a more economic way of getting systems for my business – a move inspired by the NetSuite pricing in a quote I had received. Amazing – I am easily doing most of my work using software tools that cost nothing. You will not learn this skill at a business school. The tragedy is that just about 90% of small business owners don’t know the facts about the amount of free tools out there.
Like me you can reap the rewards by sticking to these rules.
- Each working day spend 10 mins searching for a specific tool.
- Record everything you find on the web using Evernote (free).
- Just ten minutes at the end of each day exploring the features of your findings.
It should take you about a month to find all of the tools you will ever need and be up and running on free software. OK, fast start for you a small selection of the tools I use everyday that work well and you should take a look at.
To help you start saving money immediately my list is divided into two columns, on the right I have listed the software programs you may have purchased or are already using and on the left I have listed the free software.
Here we go:
