Is The Game A Scam? Is Neil Strauss A Scam? Well trying search phrases just like "neil strauss is a fraud" or "neil strauss scam" and "neil strauss review" and you will get plenty of viewpoint on this subject other than my own. But here is my two cents....
Billed as one of the best pick up artist on the earth, I found his materials fascinating and very similar to Mystery's materials. (He was a scholar of Mystery) Nevertheless, Neil Strauss falls short of a fuller comprehension of women that both Mr. L. Rx and David Deangelo have.
However, I feel his methods are very good for a particular type of girl that you primarily find in bars and night clubs. Both Neil and Mystery are more for men who are serious about being Pick Up Artists (PUAs).
I think that Neil's writings in connection with "Dating To Relating" and "Double Your Dating" could have decent value, and from that perspective it should be explored.
Taken on their own, I will not recommend them for the typical guy. The strategies that are given here, undoubtedly work, however they only work on a narrow band of what I would label shallow ladies.
Neil could be the most famous of all of those Dating Advice Guru's and his historical New York Times best seller "The Game" definitely was not a scam.
And he is trying to update his works as he admits "the game is outdated" but his brand-new techniques are just as gamy as the previous ones and certainly provide no deep level of understanding as does Mr. L. Rx or the great info that David Deangelo offers with his Dating Guru Series.
Due to this fact we give The Game and Neil a 5 on the scam-o-meter.
