Establishing Your Why Will Assist You To Achieve Success

 


"What is Your Why??"

You've probably been asked this several times and I find it hard to remember how long it took me to truly understand why that question was necessary.

You see your why is what motivates and really pushes you on.

If it's forceful enough, you will do whatever it takes to attain the success that you envision for yourself.

However if it's not forceful enough, this business is so unrelenting that you are likely to become one of the people who fall by the wayside.

When you're new to online marketing it's easy to get absorbed by the idea of making heaps of money and that's something that not many of us don't think of as one aspect of our rationale for our interest in this business. Yet that aim alone will not be enough to sustain you and keep you picking yourself up, brushing yourself off and keeping going when the going gets tough..

Your why has to come from inside, for it to push you hard enough to keep pushing you onwards when all you want to do is sit in the corner and lick your wounds, it has to be important enough that you get real excited about in it's own right, something that makes you feel whole regardless of whether you have enough money to eat that day.

Finding your why is what enables you to stop chasing people and start attracting them to you, when you realise what makes you tick, what really motivates you and you harness that, others recognise the confidence and the enhanced self awareness that generates and they find themselves drawn by that confidence.

When you first began, were you told to generate your warm list and work on them (family, friends, work colleagues), that's needy, and it's a fast way to get those people turned off and avoiding you. Sure if you're really lucky you may have several people on that list who are like minded and agreeable to do whatever it takes, but in all truthfulness, aren't there far more people on that list who switch off the minute that you start talking about your company? Learn to avoid them before they start to avoid you and establish you as the guy or gal that they least want to be anywhere near.

It's crucial for you to take control of the situation if you want to stop chasing & start attracting prospects to you - make a conscious choice to spend time and energy on people who want to move along with you rather than those who expect so much encouragement to take a step or two that they lure you backwards constantly.
