"What is Your Why??"
You've presumably been questioned about this on several occasions and I can't recall how long it took me to really figure out what that question meant.
You see your why is what motivates and really drives you on.
If it's acute enough, you will do absolutely whatever is required to achieve the success that you crave for yourself.
Alternatively if it's not acute enough, this business is so hard that you may well become one of those who give up their dream.
When you're new to internet marketing it's easy to get carried away with the idea of making heaps of money and that's a factor that very few of us don't affirm as one aspect of our incentive for doing this business. Yet that aspiration alone will not be enough to maintain you and keep you picking yourself up, brushing yourself off and moving forward when the going gets arduous..
Your why has to come from inside, for it to compel you hard enough to keep pushing you forward when all you want to do is sit in the corner and lick your wounds, it has to be something that you get real agitated about in it's own right, something that makes you feel exceptional regardless of whether you have enough money to pay your bills.
Finding your why is what enables you to stop chasing people and start attracting them to you, when you realise what makes you tick, what really inspires you and you tap into that, others respond to the confidence and the enhanced self awareness that generates and they begin to be drawn by that confidence.
When you first started out, were you told to draft your warm list and approach them (family, friends, work colleagues), that's desperate, and it's a sure fire way to get those people turned off and avoiding you. Sure if you're fortunate you may have a few people on that list who are fired up and agreeable to do whatever it takes, but in all honesty, aren't there far more people on that list who switch off as soon as you start talking about your business? Learn to avoid them before they start to avoid you and establish you as the guy or gal that they least want to spend time with.
It's crucial for you to take control of the situation if you want to stop chasing & start attracting prospects to you - make a conscious choice to spend time and energy on people who want to move along with you rather than those who expect so much support to take a step or two that they lure you backwards constantly.
